Announcements
The meeting, supported by the WCMS (the Warsaw Centre of Mathematical and Computer Sciences, http://www.mimuw.edu.pl/badania/know/know.html) and the Banach Centre, is planned as a part of activities of the Quantum groups, operators and non-commutative probability research network involving the Lancaster University, University of Leeds and IMPAN, see http://www.maths.lancs.ac.uk/qop/
The speakers will include Marek Bożejko (University of Wrocław), H.Garth Dales (Lancaster University), Matthew Daws (Leeds University), Biswarup Das (Leeds University), Derek Kitson (Lancaster University), Niels Laustsen (Lancaster University), Anna Pelczar-Barwacz (Jagiellonian University), Grzegorz Plebanek (University of Wrocław), Charles Read (Leeds University), Marcin Sabok (IMPAN), Piotr Sołtan (University of Warsaw), Stephen Trotter (Leeds University), Stanisław Lech Woronowicz (University of Warsaw) and Wiesław Żelazko (IMPAN). We plan 2 days of lectures (9th and 10th July, room 322 at IMPAN) and three days of research activities in smaller groups.
