The 7th International Conference on Lévy Processes: Theory and Applications will be held in Wrocław, Poland, from Monday, 15 July 2013 to Friday, 19 July 2013. The previous conferences in the series took place in Dresden (2010), Copenhagen (2007), Manchester (2005), Paris (2003) and Aarhus (2002, 1999).
The aim of the conference is to bring together a wide range of researchers, practitioners and graduate students whose work is related to Lévy processes and infinitely divisible distributions. The scope of the conference includes:
Fluctuation theory
Infinite divisibility with respect to non classical convolutions
Lévy trees
Numerical methods
Potential theory
Risk theory (including Finance and Insurance)
Queues
Stable and self-decomposable processes
Stochastic analysis
Stochastic partial differential equations
There will be invited talks and poster sessions. The conference is coorganized by the Stefan Banach Center, the University of Wrocław and the Wrocław University of Technology.
The Satellite Summer School to the 7th International Conference on Lévy Processes: Theory and Applications will take place 9-13 July 2013 in Będlewo, Poland.
The events are supported by Warsaw Center of Mathematics and Computer Science (KNOW), Stefan Banach Centre, Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, University of Warsaw, University of Wrocław, Wrocław University of Technology, USA National Science Foundation, Elsevier and Stochastic Processes and Their Applications-An Official Journal of the Bernoulli Society.
