The meeting, supported by the LMS (London Mathematical Society) and the Banach Centre, is a part of the activities of the Quantum groups, operators and non-commutative probability research network involving the Lancaster University, University of Leeds and IMPAN, see http://www.maths.lancs.ac.uk/qop/

It is a part of the second round of meetings of the network, the first Warsaw meeting took place in July 2013 - see http://bcc.impan.pl/13Calgebras/

 

The speakers will include Alexander Belton (Lancaster University), Uwe Franz (Universite Franche-Comte), Michał Gnacik (University of Portsmouth), Piotr M.Hajac (IMPAN), Robin Hillier (Lancaster University), Mateusz Jurczyński (Lancaster University), Paweł Kasprzak (University of Warsaw), Martin Lindsay (Lancaster University), Andrzej Łuczak (University of Łódź), Michaël Ulrich (Universite Franche-Comte), Anna Kula (University of Wrocław) and Janusz Wysoczański (University of Wrocław).

 

We plan 2 days of lectures (8th and 9th of April) and two days of research activities in smaller groups.
