NSF Support for US Participants

The USA National Science Foundation has provided funding for partial support of the U.S. participants. Preference for financial support will be given to graduate students, postdocs, junior faculty, women and minorities. To apply for a financial support, please send an email with a short CV to Mark M. Meerschaert (mcubed@stt.msu.edu) by April 30, 2013. Graduate students will need to ask their advisor to send a brief email recommendation as well.

Support for Participants from Elsevier and Stochastic Processes and Their Applications

The publishing company Elsevier and the journal Stochastic Processes and Their Applications - An Official Journal of the Bernoulli Society - support the conference with two SPA Travel Awards of 500 Euros each. Eligible are young researchers (up to the age of 35). Having published in the journal SPA or any other Elsevier journal is preferred, but not a requirement. To apply for a financial support, please send an email with a short CV to Krzysztof Bogdan (bogdan@pwr.wroc.pl) by March 24, 2013. Graduate students will need to ask their advisor to send a brief email recommendation as well.

Update (April 4, 2013): SPA Travel Awards are granted to Victoria Knopova (Kiev, Taras Schevchenko University and Ukrainian Academy of Sciences) and to Nikola Sandrić (University of Zagreb).
