The theory of Lie systems analyzes a class of systems of first-order ordinary differential equations, the so-called Lie systems, general solutions of which can be described in terms of a generic finite family of particular solutions, and a set of constants by a certain function called the superposition rule. We are planning to conduct scientific work in this field, being also the subject of the grant HARMONIA, and an European Doctorate of Cristina Sardón under the supervision of J. de Lucas.
