The Conference Center in Będlewo is located about 30 km south-west from the centre of Poznań. In order to get to Będlewo you should first reach Poznań. Due to modernization, the international airport Poznań Ławica will be closed from 21st September to 11th October. As the date of reopening of the airport might be postponed we advise not to plan your journey to Poznań by plane. Alternatively, you can fly to Warsaw or Berlin and take a train to Poznań (2,5-3,5 hours from Warsaw or 2,5 hours from Berlin), please consult the Polish Railways (PKP) webpage or the German Railways (DB) webpage. You can buy a ticket directly through these webpages using a credit card, at least for some trains (it may require you to create a website account). You can also buy a ticket directly at the station. Please note that at the Warsaw Central Station, you can use ticket machines, apart from the ticket office. Note also that the intercity trains require seat reservation and they can be crowded, especially in the afternoons, so it is advisable to buy a ticket in advance. Additionaly, the earlier you buy your ticket, the better price offer you can get.
We suggest taking the train from Warsaw on Sunday, 11th October, departing from the Warsaw Central Station (Warszawa Centralna) at 2:55 p.m. The journey to Poznań by this train takes about 2,5 hours (scheduled arrival time at Poznań Główny Station 5:24 p.m.). We plan to organize a conference bus that will take the participants from the railway station directly to the Conference Center (approx. a 40-minute ride). It will depart from Poznań Główny Station on Sunday, 11th October, at 6:00 p.m. The bus will be waiting in front of the railway station, on Dworcowa Street, cca. 300 meters from the platforms (zoom the map). After the conference, on Friday, 16th October around 1 p.m., a conference bus will take the participants from the Conference Center in Będlewo back to Poznań Główny Railway Station (expected arrival to the railway station around 2-2.15 p.m.). After that, the most convenient way to go back to Warsaw is taking the train departing from Poznań Główny Railway Station at 2.43 p.m. (scheduled arrival time at Warsaw Central Station 5:50 p.m.).
If you are not going to use the conference bus, the simplest way to get from Poznań to Będlewo is to take a taxi. We advise you to call the Conference Center office, number (+48) 61 813 51 87 or (+48) 61 669 83 11 to arrange a taxi to Będlewo (approx. 30 EUR).
