It is important that you provide in the description of the money transfer: your name, the full name of the conference, and the name of your institution. The data will be used to print your invoice, which can be picked up at the reception desk.
For bank transfers sent by July 15th the following reduced fees apply: 240 euro or 340 US dollars or 950 Polish zlotys (190 euro or 240 US dollars or 750 Polish zlotys for PhD students).
Accommodation
The Conference Center is located in the village of Będlewo, and includes a neo-gothic palace and a modern hotel, which will house the participants of the conference. The board starts with dinner on Sunday September 9th and ends with breakfast on Saturday September 15th. You can arrive and leave about noon on these days (lunch will be provided), if convenient. For more information about the Conference Center, please visit its website, where you will also find maps and travel instructions. English is spoken at the reception desk, which is open 7/24, and may answer your questions at +48 618 135 187. If you plan to bring an accompanying person with you, please email the organizers.
The capacity of the Conference Center is limited. Please register early.
Transport from Poznań
Typically, when going from abroad, you will arrive at Poznań Ławica International Airport. You can also get to Poznań by train, and then you will arrive at Poznań Railway Station. The best way to get to the Conference Center in Będlewo (approximately 30 km away from the airport or the railway station) is to take a taxi.
For participants of the conference, the reception of the Conference Center in Będlewo may arrange for a taxi from the airport or the railway station in Poznań free of charge. Local participants may also use a train to Mosina and take a taxi from there.
If you want the reception to send the taxi, please provide the time of your arrival at Poznań Airport or at Poznań Railway Station in your online registration form (or send an email to the organizers), as well as any further details that may help (e.g. your flight number or your train number). You do not need to enter these data at the time you register, you may update them at any time until September 1st. Would you request the taxi, you will receive an email early in September with detailed information on where the taxi driver will wait for you at the airport, or at the railway station. Please also record the above telephone number to the reception deck for the case of delays etc.
Talks and posters
There are two main lecture halls in the conference center, of capacity 60 and 150. Each hall has a blackboard, a computer projector and an overhead projector. The invited talks will last 35 minutes, followed by 10 minute breaks, will be given in the large lecture hall, and we encourage the speakers to rather use the computer or the overhead projector because of the length of the large hall. Please notify us if you choose to use the blackboard. The contributed talks will last 20 minutes, folowed by 5 minute breaks. The poster stands will be available in the reading room near the reception desk from the beginning of the conference.
Excursion
The excursion to Poznań, the historical capital of the Wielkopolska province, includes a visit to "Lech" Breverly, Poznań Cathedral and the Old Market Square.
Alternatively, you may choose to see the palace and ancients oaks in Rogalin and the castle in Kórnik.
